Keep your sanding disks flat

Ashore or afloat, the loose stowing of the typical sanding disks of any size usually results in their curling like leaves. At best, this is a nuisance when the disk is fitted to an angle grinder. At worst, the disk will actually fracture and become useless. The problem can be solved by making a simple keeper comprised of two panels of plywood and a single through-bolt (shown at right).
