    Elizabeth Messerang

    was born and raised in Michigan and has enjoyed the Great Lakes all her life. She is a mental health professional who works with combat veterans. In her free time, she reads, writes, and canoes. And of course, she sails on Erewhon whenever possible, first mate to captain Mitch, who still resides at the marina and sails the western shores of Lake Erie and enjoys many solid friendships.
