Yngling

Description

The Yngling is a small racing keelboat designed by Jan Linge, first built in 1967. It is known for its sleek design, which combines elements of a planning dinghy and a keelboat, making it suitable for average-sized crews. The Yngling is recognized for its stability, responsiveness, and ease of handling, making it popular among both juniors and adults. It was selected as the Olympic Women's Keelboat for the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics, and it has been in production since then, with over 4,000 boats built worldwide. The Yngling is also known for its durability and low maintenance costs, making it a popular choice among sailing enthusiasts.

Disclaimer. Boats are not all the same -- even when produced in the same factory of the same model. Sailrite does its best to publish accurate dimensions, but we often find it worthwhile to have our customers measure their boats carefully before we produce kits for them. You should take the same precautions, especially when the data is not from Sailrite.
