Dyer Midget

Description

The Dyer Midget is the smallest and most popular dinghy in the Dyer Boats lineup, a 7 ft 11 in fiberglass tender renowned for its versatility as a yacht accessory, day sailor, or rowing skiff. Built by The Anchorage, Inc. (Dyer Boats) in Warren, Rhode Island, since the 1950s, it's an evolution of the WWII-era Dhow series, emphasizing compact size, rugged durability, and ease of use. Available in rowing, sailing (with optional cat rig kit), or "convertible" configurations, it carries up to 465 lb.—enough for three adults, gear, and even a dog—while stowing neatly on davits or a cabin top. Like its siblings (Dhow 9', Dink 10'), the Midget features a hard-chine flat-bottom hull for stability and portability (just 85 lb.), making it ideal for auxiliaries, cruisers, or junior sailors. It's a timeless New England classic, still handcrafted today.

Custom sail calculations are not possible for this boat as no I, J, P and E dimensions are available.
