Ct 34
Description
The CT 34 (also known as the Ta Chiao CT 34 or China Traders 34) is a classic Taiwanese heavy-displacement cruising sailboat loosely based on the 1920s Philip Rhodes design for the wooden Dog Star (later adapted as the Traveller 32). Introduced in 1970 by Ta Chiao Enterprises in Kaohsiung, Taiwan (under owner C.S. Chen), production continued into the mid-1970s with around 50–100 units built. It's renowned for its robust solid fiberglass construction, long keel for seaworthiness, and traditional lines—ideal for blue water passages and coastal cruising.
