Cape Cod 18
Description
The Cape Cod 18, also known as the Rhodes 18, is an American trailerable day-sailor and sailing dinghy designed by Philip Rhodes and first built in 1948 by Cape Cod Shipbuilding in Wareham, Massachusetts. Originally crafted as a wooden boat for the Stamford Yacht Club as a junior trainer, it transitioned to fiberglass construction in 1965, with over 700 units produced to date. Renowned for its elegant simplicity and versatility, it serves as both a family daysailer and a competitive one-design racer.

Disclaimer. Boats are not all the same -- even when produced in the same factory of the same model. Sailrite does its best to publish accurate dimensions, but we often find it worthwhile to have our customers measure their boats carefully before we produce kits for them. You should take the same precautions, especially when the data is not from Sailrite.
