Aegean 234

Description

The Aegean 234 (often marketed as the Aegean 240 in some regions) is a lightweight, high-performance fiberglass sailboat designed by British naval architect Ed Dubois and built by Aegean Yachts in Greece from 1980 to 1985, with approximately 100–200 units produced. Featuring a fin keel with spade rudder, raked stem, and open transom, it emphasizes speed and responsiveness for club racing and coastal day sailing. Powered by an outboard auxiliary (typically 4–6 hp in a well), with tiller steering and optional fractional rig, it's a nimble "pocket racer" ideal for single-handing or small crews.
