William H. Tripp III

William H. Tripp III and William H. Tripp Jr. are not the same person; Tripp III is the son and successor of the renowned naval architect William H. Tripp Jr. (1920–1971), who pioneered fiberglass cruiser-racer designs like the Bermuda 40 and Block Island 40. Tripp III, often called Bill Tripp, founded Tripp Design in 1981 and has built on his father's legacy by specializing in large luxury superyachts and high-performance sailing vessels up to 300 feet.
