Chris-Craft, founded by Christopher Columbus Smith in 1874, is one of America's oldest and most prestigious boat manufacturers. While primarily known for powerboats, Chris-Craft also produced sailboats during various periods. The company became synonymous with quality construction, innovative design, and classic American styling. During the 1960s-1970s, Chris-Craft entered sailboat production with various models designed to bring their powerboat quality and styling to the sailing market.
