Brewer and Wallstrom

Ted Brewer and Bob Wallstrom formed a successful yacht design partnership in the 1970s, creating numerous popular cruising designs. Brewer, a Canadian designer with experience at Luders and American Marine, partnered with Swedish designer Wallstrom to create boats that combined North American and European design influences. Their designs included the Whitby 42, numerous custom yachts, and various production boats. The partnership was known for creating seaworthy, comfortable cruising yachts with good performance and practical features. After the partnership ended, both continued successful independent careers, with Brewer becoming one of North America's most respected cruising yacht designers.
