Graham Radford
Graham Radford is an Australian naval architect specializing in monohull sailing yachts, ranging from ultra-light racing designs to robust steel or aluminum cruising yachts. He apprenticed under Joe Adams in the 1970s, became a partner in Adams Yacht Design in 1977, and launched his own firm, Radford Yacht Design, in 1987 (based in Brookvale, NSW, Australia). His work often echoes Adams' influence—deep, narrow, light-displacement hulls for performance—but extends to practical cruising boats, kit yachts (e.g., aluminum plasma-cut components for assembly), and custom superyachts.
