Calgan Marine

Calgan Marine Ltd. was a Canadian fiberglass sailboat manufacturer based in North Vancouver, British Columbia, specializing in trailerable and coastal cruising sailboats during the 1960s and 1970s. Founded to license and produce popular designs from U.S. builder Jensen Marine (Cal Yachts), the company focused on affordable, performance-oriented sloops with spacious interiors and easy handling, catering to recreational sailors in North America's growing boating market. It built licensed Cal models alongside its own Crown/Calgan line, emphasizing quality GRP construction for racing and family use. Production totaled around 300–400 boats before closure, with a legacy of durable, one-design racers that remain active in fleets today.
