Butler Mouldings Ltd. was a British fiberglass (GRP) boatbuilding company based in the UK, renowned for producing durable, performance-oriented sailboats during the late 20th century. Founded by naval architect and designer Chris Butler, the company initially specialized in non-marine products before pivoting to recreational boating in the 1960s. It became particularly famous for the Achilles series of trailerable cruisers, which emphasized seaworthiness, ease of handling, and value for money. With a focus on quality GRP construction, Butler Mouldings contributed to the UK's post-war sailing boom, producing around 2,000 boats before ceasing operations in the 1980s.
