Westerly 31 (32) Ketch Pentland
Description
The Westerly Pentland 32 (often just called the Pentland) is a center-cockpit ketch (or sloop option) family cruiser from Westerly Marine Construction Ltd. (Hamble, UK), built 1973–1980. It shares the same basic Laurent Giles-designed hull as the Westerly Berwick (aft cockpit sloop), Longbow (aft cockpit sloop), and Renown (center cockpit ketch)—the Pentland is the twin-keel (bilge keel) version of the Renown, optimized for shallow/tidal waters (dries out upright on mud/sand, great for UK/European East Coast or beaching).
