Westerly 29 Konsort
Description
The Westerly Konsort 29 (also known as the Konsort 29 or simply Konsort) is a popular British family cruising sailboat from Westerly Marine Construction Ltd. (Hamble, UK), introduced in 1979 and produced until 1991. It was Westerly's last design by Laurent Giles (the renowned British naval architecture firm founded by Jack Laurent Giles; by the late 1970s, the firm continued under successors). The Konsort replaced the earlier Westerly Centaur as a more modern, beamy cruiser with improved performance, space, and seaworthiness—often described as "the 29-footer that had everything" in reviews (e.g., Practical Boat Owner, Yachting Monthly).
