Westerly 25 Tiger
Description
The Westerly Tiger 25 (also known as the Tiger 25 (Westerly)) is a classic British pocket cruiser/racer from Westerly Marine Construction Ltd. (Hamble, UK), built as a stretched and improved development of the earlier Westerly Cirrus 22. Designer: John A. Butler (British naval architect; he also designed the Cirrus 22, on which the Tiger is directly based with added length, beam, and refinements for better performance and space). Builder: Westerly Marine Ltd. (UK) — produced from 1969 to 1976, with 284 hulls completed. It was phased out in 1976, replaced by the Westerly Pembroke (fin-keel version of the Centaur).
