Tartan Tock 40
Description
The Tartan Tock 40 (also known as the Tartan 40 Offshore), designed by Sparkman & Stephens, was produced by Tartan Marine from 1976 to 1977 in a limited run of 30 hulls. This masthead ketch is a robust bluewater cruiser emphasizing stability and long-range capability, with a fin keel and skeg-hung rudder for protected handling—sleeping 6–7 in a spacious teak interior, and noted for its heavy displacement, powerful rig, and rarity as an S&S classic suited for offshore passages.
