Tartan 48 Sloop

Description

The Tartan 48 Sloop, designed by the legendary firm Sparkman & Stephens (design #2060), was produced by Tartan Marine in 1972 in an ultra-limited run of just 6 hulls. This masthead sloop is a cruising-oriented evolution of the Tartan 46, featuring a fin keel with skeg-hung rudder for protected, balanced handling and a traditional counter stern for classic aesthetics—sleeping 6–7 in a spacious teak interior, ideal for bluewater passages with robust construction and timeless seaworthiness.
