Description

The Tartan 44 Sloop, designed by the legendary firm Sparkman & Stephens, was produced by Tartan Marine in 1974 in an ultra-limited run of just 7 hulls. This masthead sloop is a heavy-displacement bluewater cruiser with racing pedigree, featuring a fin keel with skeg-hung rudder for protected, stable handling and a stretched hull for enhanced speed—sleeping 6–7 in a classic teak interior, renowned for its seaworthiness and quality as a rare S&S classic.
