Tartan 3800
Description
The Tartan 3800, designed by naval architect Tim Jackett, was produced by Tartan Marine from 1994 to 1999, with 43 hulls built. This masthead sloop is a refined performance cruiser emphasizing speed, stability, and livability, featuring a fin keel with bulb (deep or shoal options) and spade rudder for balanced handling—sleeping 6–7 in a teak-trimmed interior with two cabins and heads, making it an excellent choice for coastal or light offshore voyages with enduring build quality.
