Tartan 37 Tall Rig

Description

The Tartan 37 Tall Rig, designed by the legendary firm Sparkman & Stephens, was produced by Tartan Marine from 1976 to 1989, with 486 hulls built across the Tartan 37 series (Tall Rig as an optional configuration, estimated at 20–30% of total based on owner reports). This masthead sloop variant amplifies the standard model's prowess with a taller mast and boom for ~4% more sail area and enhanced light-air performance, paired with a fin keel (or optional keel/centerboard) and skeg-hung rudder—delivering agile offshore racing/cruising that sleeps 6–7 in a refined teak interior, a benchmark for quality and resale value.
