Tartan 33R Sloop

Description

The Tartan 33R Sloop, designed by the legendary firm Sparkman & Stephens, was produced by Tartan Marine from 1979 to 1984 in a limited run of just 14 hulls. This masthead sloop is the racing-oriented variant of the standard Tartan 33, featuring a deep fin keel with spade rudder for superior upwind performance and agility—sleeping 4–5 in a functional teak interior, and appreciated for its speed, stability, and rarity as a compact offshore racer-cruiser.
