Tartan 31 (pre 1992)

Description

The Tartan 31 (pre-1992 "old" model), designed by in-house naval architect Tim Jackett, was produced by Tartan Marine from 1987 to 1991, with 118 hulls built. This masthead sloop is a medium-displacement cruiser-racer blending performance and comfort, featuring a fin keel (or optional Scheel shoal draft) with spade rudder for agile handling—sleeping 4–5 in a teak-trimmed interior with a fold-down nav station, making it a solid, value-retaining choice for coastal and light offshore sailing.
