Tartan 27-2
Description
The Tartan 27-2, designed by the legendary firm Sparkman & Stephens, was produced by Tartan Marine from 1979 to 1980, with 64 hulls built. This updated masthead sloop (yawl rig optional) refines the original Tartan 27 with a raised sheer line, leveled coachroof for improved headroom and dryness, and minor interior enhancements—retaining the keel/centerboard configuration for shallow-water versatility and balanced coastal cruising/racing, sleeping 4–5 in a compact teak layout that's trailerable and timelessly capable.
