Description
The Tartan 26, designed by naval architect Tom Norton, was produced by Tartan Marine from 1971 to 1973, with 73 hulls built. This masthead sloop is a compact coastal cruiser-racer featuring a fin keel with transom-hung rudder for nimble handling and balanced performance, offering a simple teak interior that sleeps 4 in V-berths and settees—prized for its sturdy build, light-air responsiveness, and trailerable size as an entry-level classic.
