The Tartan 10 (also known as the Tartan Ten or T-10), designed by the acclaimed firm Sparkman & Stephens, was produced by Tartan Marine in Painesville, Ohio, from 1978 to 1989, with approximately 400 hulls built. This fractional sloop is a benchmark one-design racer prioritizing equalized speed, handling, and simplicity for club and offshore competition, featuring a fin keel with spade rudder for responsive performance—offering a minimal interior that sleeps 4 in V-berths and settees, with easy trailering potential for dedicated sailors.
