The Tanzer 31 is a Canadian-built recreational sailboat designed by George Cuthbertson (of Cuthbertson & Cassian, known for C&C designs) and produced by Tanzer Industries Ltd. from 1984 until the company's bankruptcy in 1986. Production was limited due to the short run, making it a somewhat rare model compared to Tanzer's more popular boats like the Tanzer 22 or 26. It's positioned as a cruiser-racer: competent for club racing with good performance, while offering comfortable accommodations for a couple or small family on extended cruises.
