Tanzer 10.5
Description
The Tanzer 10.5 is a 34.5-foot Canadian-built center-cockpit cruiser designed by Bill Shaw (ex-S&S, Pearson) and constructed by Tanzer Industries (Dorion, Quebec) from 1983 to 1986, with ~60 hulls produced before the company’s closure. Marketed as a go-anywhere family cruiser, it features a long encapsulated keel, skeg-hung rudder, moderate cutter or sloop rig, and robust hand-laid fiberglass—optimized for bluewater safety, short-handed sailing, and liveaboard comfort in a compact, trailerable-width package.
