Stray Cat

Stray Cat

Description

The Stray Cat is a 16'6" plywood performance sailing skiff designed by Graham Byrnes (Bieker Boats) and offered as CNC kit/plans by Benford Design Group since the 2010s. Intended for racing and spirited daysailing, dozens have been built worldwide. Features narrow hull for speed, carbon daggerboard option, balanced lug rig, stitch-and-glue construction, and exceptional light-air performance. Its low wetted surface and planing capability make it faster than traditional dinghies while remaining stable for 2 adults. Popular in skiff racing circles for simplicity and speed.
