The Farallone Clipper is a classic wooden racer-cruiser designed and built by the legendary Stephens Brothers Boat Yard in Stockton, California, from 1940 to 1962. Inspired by the clipper ships of old, these 19 exquisite mahogany-on-oak yachts (with only 18 surviving as of recent records) were crafted during the yard's golden era, blending speed, elegance, and seaworthiness for San Francisco Bay racing and coastal cruising. The design evolved from prototypes in 1938, becoming a dominant one-design class on the Bay for over a decade, with active fleets still competing in events like the Jessica Cup and Master Mariners Regatta.
