Standfast 36 (also known as the Standfast 36S or sold in the US as the Palmer Johnson 36 / PJ-36 Maas) is a solid, heavy-displacement fiberglass cruiser/racer designed by renowned Dutch naval architect Frans Maas and built by Standfast Yachts in Breskens, Netherlands, starting in 1973. A limited number were produced, with some finished or marketed by Palmer Johnson in the US. It emphasizes strong construction, seaworthiness, and timeless lines suitable for both club racing and comfortable long-distance cruising
