Sr 33

Description

The SR 33 (also known as the C&C SR 33) is a high-performance fiberglass sailboat designed by Canadian naval architect Glenn Henderson and first built in 1992, with initial prototypes constructed by the designer himself before tooling was sold to C&C Yachts for production from 1994 to 1995. Featuring a deep fin keel, spade rudder, plumb bow, and open reverse transom, it was optimized for offshore racing under IMS/PHRF rules while offering modest cruising accommodations. Powered by a Yanmar 2YM15 diesel inboard (15 hp), with wheel steering and optional inboard auxiliary, it's celebrated for its stability, speed, and responsive handling—earning a reputation as a "very high performer" with a SA/D ratio of ~28. Ideal for club and offshore racing.
