Slingshot 34 (S&S 34)
Description
The Slingshot 34 is a fiberglass monohull sailboat designed by Olin Stephens from Sparkman & Stephens (design #1959) and first built in 1968. This design emerged from a commission by British yachtsman Michael Winfield, who wanted a production version based on his successful 36-foot wooden one-tonner named Morningtown. The result became one of the most successful racing designs of its era, with approximately 200 boats built over multiple decades.
