Skylark 6

Description

The Skylark 6 is the smallest in the Selway-Fisher Skylark series of simple, stitch-and-glue plywood pram dinghies (continuing the progression from the Skylark 10 and 12 we've covered). Designed by Paul Fisher (Selway-Fisher Design, UK), it's an ultra-compact, lightweight tender or kids' boat focused on maximum stability and safety in a tiny package—ideal for fishing, messing about on ponds/lakes, or as a first "real" boat for children. Like the others, it's pram-shaped (flat bow and stern) for easy building and beaching, with generous buoyancy to avoid the tippiness common in small craft.
