Skylark 14

Description

The Skylark 14 is a charming, traditional lapstrake (clinker-built) sailing dinghy designed by Paul Gartside (Gartside Boats), inspired by classic British lug-rigged dinghies. It's built for family day-sailing, estuary use, or even sporty coastal waters—robust, stable, and fun rather than a high-performance racer. Gartside's design emphasizes practicality: plenty of freeboard for safety, good carrying capacity (up to 4 people comfortably, including gear or a dog), and easy handling.
