Description
The Skipper 20 is an American trailerable sailboat designed as both a daysailer and pocket cruiser, first built in 1978 by Southern Sails Inc. Production continued through 1981, though the original designer remains unknown in available documentation. This "character boat" features distinctive simulated lapstrake construction and was conceived to offer traditional aesthetics combined with modern fiberglass durability for recreational sailors seeking a unique small cruiser.
