Skipjack 48
Description
The Skipjack 48 is a radio-controlled model sailboat designed by "Pepper" Langley and published by the Solomons Island Model Boat Club (SIMBC) in January 2002. This class was established on the Chesapeake Bay to honor and preserve the heritage of the oyster dredging skipjacks on the Bay, with models built to a common plan to create a scale representation of a "typical" working skipjack.
