Skerry 15 (Balance Lug Rig Option)

Skerry 15 (Balance Lug Rig Option)

Description

The Skerry 15 is Chesapeake Light Craft's flagship small sailboat design, inspired by traditional Norwegian working boats but adapted for modern recreational sailing and amateur construction. This 15-foot lapstrake-planked sailboat combines classic aesthetics with contemporary performance and buildability. The Skerry Lug Rig Option is a balanced lug sail configuration designed by Chesapeake Light Craft as an alternative to the standard sprit rig for their popular 15-foot Skerry sailboat. The balanced lug rig is the best compromise between easy construction, performance under sail, and ease of rigging.
