Sceptor 41

Sceptor 41

Description

The Sceptre 41 is a 41-foot Canadian fiberglass monohull bluewater performance cruising sailboat designed by Hein Driehuyzen and built by Sceptre Yachts Ltd. in Richmond, British Columbia, from 1982 to 1993. It features solid fiberglass construction (uncored hull) with a fin keel and rudder on skeg, and approximately 53 hulls were produced, making it a relatively rare but highly respected model favored by serious Northwest and long-distance cruisers for its balance of seaworthiness, comfort, and short-handed capability. Many examples incorporated a raised saloon/pilothouse layout (deck salon with inside steering station), which was innovative for its time, providing excellent visibility, protection from elements, and abundant natural light while maintaining a relatively low, attractive profile and strong offshore hull form.
