The Seal by Karl A. Stambaugh is a small training sailboat designed by Chesapeake Marine Design as an ideal first boat for young sailors learning the fundamentals of seamanship. Stambaugh originally designed and built the first Seal for his nephew when he was old enough to start learning the basics of boating, creating a simple yet effective platform that emphasizes safety, ease of handling, and educational value.
