Seafarer 24 T/4 Keel
Description
The Seafarer 24 is a classic American trailerable cruiser-racer designed by McCurdy & Rhodes and built by Seafarer Yachts (Huntington, New York) starting in 1974. It's out of production but remains popular for its sturdy fiberglass construction, comfortable accommodations for up to five, and balanced performance for coastal cruising or daysailing. The "T/4 Keel" designation refers to the fixed fin keel variant (approximating a 4 ft draft; standard is 3.75 ft), offering better stability than the centerboard version while still being trailerable. This setup pairs with a skeg-hung rudder and tiller steering. Deck styles include "Classic" (trunk cabin) or "Futura" (raised aft), with four interior layouts available. It features a V-berth forward, convertible dinette, galley with stove/sink, nav station, and enclosed head. An outboard motor handles propulsion. PHRF rating is approximately 240–246 for this variant.
