Sea Wind Cutter
Description
The Sea Wind Cutter 35 (or Sea Wind 35 Cutter) is a seaworthy fiberglass cutter-rigged sailboat designed by Canadian naval architect Charles W. (Ted) Brewer, first built starting in 1982 by Sea Wind Yachts Ltd. in Richmond, British Columbia. Around 30-40 hulls were produced through the late 1980s (exact count undocumented but limited factory run), featuring solid laminate construction, full keel with cutaway forefoot, heavy displacement for bluewater cruising, teak interiors, and cutter rig for versatile sail handling—ideal for long passages with good upwind ability and stability. Key features: double-ended hull, skeg-hung rudder, ample tankage (100+ gal fuel/water), and cozy layout for 4-6.
