Sea Urchin
Description
This design exemplifies Simon Watts' philosophy of combining elegance with practicality. As he noted, these are "mature designs that had reached a balance between the purpose for which they were built, the materials then available and the skills and techniques current at the time." The Sea Urchin represents what Watts called "carpentry made art"—a design with historical roots spanning hundreds of years.
