Sea Sprite 27

Description

The Sea Sprite 27 is a classic fiberglass sailboat designed by Alfred E. Luders Jr. and built by C.E. Ryder Corporation in Bristol, Rhode Island, from 1974 to the early 1980s, with approximately 100–150 units produced. Featuring a full keel, keel-hung rudder, raked stem, and rounded counter stern, it’s designed for coastal cruising with an emphasis on seaworthiness, stability, and elegant traditional styling. Powered by an inboard diesel (typically Yanmar or Westerbeke, 10–20 hp) or optional gasoline engine, with tiller steering (wheel in some refits), it offers a compact yet comfortable interior for weekend cruising or short passages.
