Schucker 436

Schucker 436

Description

The Schucker 436 (also called Schucker 436 Motorsailer) is a classic American pilothouse motorsailer from the late 1970s, built by Schucker Yachts (or Schucker Boats) in Cape Coral, Florida. Production was limited (likely dozens, not hundreds), spanning roughly 1977–1980, with most examples from 1979. These boats were designed for comfortable, long-range cruising—especially liveaboard or extended coastal/inland voyages—prioritizing space, shallow draft, fuel efficiency under power, and enough sail area for motor assistance or light-wind sailing rather than pure performance racing.
