Russel Marine 20 (Vivacity 20)

Description

The Vivacity 20, a distinguished 20-foot recreational keelboat designed by Peter Stevenson and Des C. Pollard as a racer-cruiser and first built in 1963 by Russell Marine Ltd. in Essex, England. This vessel represents a lengthened development of the popular Alacrity 19 and was produced both complete and ready to sail or as a kit for amateur completion. The boat was also imported to the United States by Wells Yachts starting in the early 1960s, making it one of the early successful British fiberglass exports to American waters.
