Rosen 31 (Elizabethan 31)

Description

The ROSEN 31 is a 31-foot sailboat designed by David Thomas and built by Peter Webster Ltd. in the United Kingdom, with production beginning in 1968. This vessel features fiberglass construction with a long keel configuration and masthead sloop rigging, displacing 11,200 pounds with 5,600 pounds of ballast for a 50% ballast-to-displacement ratio. After Peter Webster Ltd. closed down in 1976, the molds were used to produce a few additional hulls elsewhere. The boat is also known as the Elizabethan 31 and is associated with the Elizabethan Owners Association.
