Description
The Ro 265 (also styled as RO265 or Ronautica RO265) is a modern French trailerable/family cruising sailboat produced by Ronautica Yachts (a Spanish/French builder, often associated with Barracuda Yacht Design influences in some brochures). It's a compact yet capable pocket cruiser aimed at weekend sailing, family outings, club racing, or short coastal hops—emphasizing easy handling, good performance in moderate conditions, and surprising interior space for its length. Introduced in the early 2000s (examples from ~2004 onward are common), it's part of Ronautica's RO series (including the similar RO 260/265 pair), designed as an accessible "starter" cruising yacht with modern features like a drop-down transom platform for easy water access, open cockpit, and practical accommodations.
