Description
The Rasmus 35 is a pioneering Swedish bluewater cruising sailboat designed by legendary naval architect Olle Enderlein and constructed by Hallberg-Rassy Varv from 1967 to 1978. This center-cockpit masthead sloop was revolutionary for its era: the first production yacht with a protective windscreen (a hallmark of HR designs ever since), powerful inboard diesel for reliable motoring, and a blend of seaworthiness, elegance, and practicality that made it ahead of its time—suitable for ocean crossings, family cruising, or liveaboard use. With an impressive 760 boats built during its eleven-year production run, the Rasmus 35 established the foundational blueprint for the Hallberg-Rassy concept and became the highest-volume model in the yard's history.
