Quickstep 21

Quickstep 21

Description

The Quickstep 21 is an American trailerable cruising sailboat designed by Michael Price and constructed by C.E. Ryder in Bristol, Rhode Island, beginning in 1987. This 20.83-foot vessel represents Price's expertise in creating practical pocket cruisers that balance seaworthiness with trailerable convenience. Built with fiberglass construction featuring a stub keel with retractable centerboard configuration and fractional sloop rig, the boat was designed specifically for coastal cruising families seeking the advantages of shallow-draft sailing combined with comfortable accommodations. The boats were originally equipped with Thurston or Hood sails and were available with a variety of fine options from roller furling to a cruising spinnaker, to teak cockpit gratings. They were essentially semi-custom production sailboats.
